Hi! I’m Cindy.

I am a bilingual licensed psychotherapist in Los Angeles, California. I am a first generation Taiwanese American immigrant, lifelong learner, foodie, and pet mom to an adorable corgi and tabby cat.

One of the main reasons I became a therapist is to help others on their mental health journey the way I was supported in mine. I know what it is like to feel alone, confused, or not have anyone who understands or supports you.

Everyone deserves to have someone who understands and supports them. I hope that I can provide that safe space for you in your healing journey.

I will support you, guide you, and believe in you.

My work is all about helping people to overcome their challenges, gain self-awareness and confidence, practice self-compassion and self-acceptance, and build strong, healthy relationships.

I believe that everyone is capable of healing and growing, and sometimes we just need more support or guidance to get to where we want to go.

I understand the Asian American immigrant experience.

For many Asian Americans, emotions and mental health were not often talked about growing up. If you struggle with understanding how you’re feeling or communicating your feelings and needs, you’re not alone.

As a first generation immigrant, my experiences in both Taiwanese and American cultures allow me to understand different cultural identities, norms, and experiences. I am curious and open to learning about your cultural experiences and the role culture plays in your life.

Language is an important part of how we express ourselves and connect with others. I offer therapy in Mandarin for clients who prefer to speak in their native language. If Mandarin was your first language, it may be helpful to speak in Mandarin during session to help you express your emotions and thoughts more easily.
